About Pearl Bodhi
A collection of luxury, boutique, service driven ocean and lakefront villas in the Ambalangoda area of the Southern Province, which is one of the top destinations in Sri Lanka and is renowned for its beautiful beaches, mask making and cinnamon plantations.
Ideal for families or for groups of friends wishing to enjoy the spectacular scenery, history and culture that Sri Lanka has to offer.
Great Location
Close to secluded and palm fringed beaches and only about 1 1/2 hours from Colombo airport on the new highway, each villa is in its own private grounds, yet is well located for sight-seeing trips and excursions. Many famous destinations are possible within one day including: the Udawalawe National Park, the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, tea plantations and the Galle Fort UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The nearest town of Ambalangoda has bus and railway stations, fruit and vegetable stalls, a fish market, shops and restaurants, as well as the famous mask museum, an ancient bell tower and temple and numerous antique shops.
Superb Amenities
Each villa sits in its own walled garden with an infinity pool and deck for sun loungers.
All of the bedrooms have fabulous four poster beds, A/C and en-suite shower rooms, for your comfort and privacy.
Breakfast is included (local fruits, eggs, toast and delectable homemade jams, tea or coffee). The villa kitchens are there for you to prepare your lunch or dinner if you prefer not to order from our reasonably priced menu, for which all of the ingredients are sourced freshly from the local markets. You can then dine and relax outside on the verandas, whilst enjoying the nature and spectacular views.
There is complimentary WiFi.
Looking after you
Each villa has its own chef and houseboy, who will be on hand to look after you and to ensure that you can relax whilst enjoying the smiling hospitality that Sri Lanka is famous for.
There is daily housekeeping and pool maintenance and each villa has an outdoor barbecue. The staff will be just seconds away in the adjoining service house and there is a bell in each villa to gain their attention.
The villa manager will be available to advise you on the local area and to arrange your trips and excursions.
Helping the Environment in Sri Lanka
To reduce the consumption of single use plastics, we have recently installed water filters and now offer complimentary bottled water. All of the villas have solar powered hot water and Gangananda and Villananda also enjoy solar powered electricity.
